Charles H. Basel was a Second Assistant Lighthouse Keeper at Crisp Point Light from April 27, 1904 until June 5, 1904 at which time he resigned.
Charles was born on October 12, 1878. He passed away on April 21, 1968 and was laid to rest at the Rogers City Cemetary, Presque Isle County, MI.
