At the 2007 Great Lakes Lighthouse Festival in Alpena, some daring CPLHS members bid at the auction to have their favorite lighthouse made into miniatures. Also as part of the auction, the winning lighthouse would be the featured light at the 2008 Great Lakes Lighthouse Festival in Alpena, MI. Guess what? They got it! Harbour Lights is making Crisp Point Lighthouse Miniatures in their "This Little Light of Mine" series. Rick Brockway is taking orders now as the first run will be 300 miniatures. These first 300 miniatures will have special markings on the bottom and will be sold through CPLHS. All proceeds of miniatures through CPLHS will go to CPLHS. The price for the miniatures will be $21.95 each. They will be available for pickup in Paradise, MI and Howell, MI or they can be delivered to you for a shipping and handling fee of $5.00. Below are pictures of the first samples of what the miniatures will look like. These pictures are not the final version though, as some paint color corrections, etc. need to be made.
